BET Award 2019 (Best International Act) was coveted by Burna Boy on Monday, June 24, 2019.
BET Award 2019, which celebrates the black people in film, music and arts, took place at the Microsoft Theatre in California.
The BET Award Best International Act Category is an annual award given to honour the remarkable achievements of international artists.
The BET Award 2019, Best International Act which went to Burna Boy, was received by his mother, Bose Ogulu. She however, delivered a strong acceptance speech, urging black entertainers to remember their roots.

Wizkid however, still tops the record for highest wins in the said category, winning two consecutive times.
Burna Boy has finally entered the class of BET Award winners.
Wizkid, D’banj, 2baba, Iceprince and Davido are previous winners of the award from Nigeria, West Africa.
The BET Award 2019 Best International Act nomination included, Mr Eazi from Nigeria, Giggs from UK, Dosseh from France, Dave from UKand Aya Nakamura from France, AKA (South Africa) and Burna Boy from Nigeria.
