Court Terminates Bukola Dakolo’s Case and Declares COZA Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo Winner and Not Guilty
The High Court of the Federal Capital Teritory (FCT), Court 12 sitting at Bwari terminated the case filed by Busola Dakolo and exonerated Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly (COZA) Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo.
The new development surfaced after Fatoyinbo filed an opposition coupled with an affidavit at the Court stating that the allegations presented by Bukola were fabricated and not real in order to scandalize, humiliate and ridicule him.
He stated that from the beginning, she sought after the press, media and civil action during the process of Police investigation. Her false claim was inappropriate, an abuse of the judicial process.
The court held that the matter amounts to injustice and an abuse of judicial process and added that the case is purely sentimental and empty.
The court however, awarded costs of One Million Naira (N1,000,000) against Busola Dakolo and said that it would have been 10 times more but made it less because there are other women with genuine claims who may seek legal action. The court reiterated that the case carries more of spitefulness in them than justice.
